I've been on a primal/paleo diet for the past 6-8 weeks and I was completely skeptical... at first. I'm convinced now that this is the way I will be eating from now on. I didn't realize how grains and processed foods made me feel until I gave them up. Now when I slip up and have grains (like when I was at the Mets baseball stadium with no good food options) I definitely feel the effects later (TMI warning: can anyone say massive gloating and gas!?)
I've gotten much better with my sweets too... I still occasionally get cravings but they're practically 70% reduced. The longer the intervals are between sweets, the longer I can go without cravings....and I NEVER thought this would happen
Now the fitness part, I'm working on it. I walk around the hospital all day 5 days a week so I'm getting some cardio but my main goal is to tone up. Hope everyone is having success and seeing some results!
