My hair is mostly 3a, and on some days a 2b. The problem is that the underside of my hair near the nape of my neck is STICK straight and it drives me nuts. Even on the best hair days my hair still looks bad because the straight hair fans out over my shoulders and looks ridiculous. I talked to my stylist about maybe getting only the straight part permed into a soft wave to try to even things out and he said it's been done before. Has anyone out there actually done it? I've been considering this for years but I'm nervous. If it matters, my hair falls about 5-6 inches from my shoulders.
Learning to love it. Slowly.
