I have two interviews on Wednesday (I have a wedding on Monday...weird, I know...so I'll be gone Monday and Tuesday.)
They're both in my field. One is an advertising agency and works with a show a producer friend of mine works on. After they called me, I called her and asked how well she knew them and she said the owner of the company is a very good friend of hers. This woman particularly just LOVES me and has been trying to help me out so if I go in here and it's something I can see myself doing, I'll definitely try to get her to talk me up.
The other is an office I interviewed at in February, but for a different position. A former colleague works there now so I'll try to get into touch with him over the weekend to talk. I think it's a pretty small company.
Annnnnnnnnnnd no word from all those other jobs.
I was talking to my cousin this morning, who worked her way up in the same company from 21 to 35 (she left to stay home with her kids). She came right out and said, "I cannot IMAGINE having to start sending out resumes and looking for a job..." but said that it's a good thing I haven't gotten offers on anything I didn't want yet and didn't settle and maybe that's why...because something I particularly want is on the way.
