I find that Maybelline colors tend toward yellowish tones, which is good for me, but I still can't find a shade that isn't too dark. I end up having to mix the lightest shade (which is, invariably, pink-toned) with a darker shade.

Just FYI, Cover Girl makeup runs very pink, IMHO.

Also, I was also skimming a magazine article that suggests that wearing a makeup shade that is a dead-on match for a pale skin tone can make woman look older. Maybe I have the right idea in going for a TM shade that adds just a little color to my skin. (Don't worry--I blend carefully along the jaw and hairline.)
