I always do, and most of my family appreciates it and sticks to it. I love books, movies and music as gifts, and people always want to know what I'm interested in this time of year. I keep my Amazon wishlist up to date.

Of course there are some (MIL) who want to get me other stuff-- knick knacks and the like-- and while I appreciate the thought she puts into those things, I'm not a knick knack person so it mostly goes to waste. She's not weird about it, though, never asks where something she gave me is or anything like that.

Fun Fact: When you actively avoid being “PC,” you’re not being forward-thinking or unique. You’re buying into systems of oppression that have existed since before you were even born, and you’re keeping those systems in place."
Stolen.
