From my understanding your hair growth is programmed in your DNA just like everything else. But, that doesn't mean you can't take full advantage of that predetermined rate, right? If my genes say, "Grow .5 inches a month," then I want ALL of that .5 inch
So.
Common held-tips:
-Healthy, balanced diet
-Good blood circulation, via exercise and scalp massages
-Biotin is believed to help (I thought it did). Don't expect hair down to your butt though.
-Omega 3's are also a common held belief to help. Ground flaxseed anyone?
-Be kind to your hair to avoid breakage and tears.
Um, yeah I think that's pretty much it. Not a ton you can do to increase hair growth, but all of these things no doubtlessly would make your hair healthier.
