I'm not sure of your hair's properties, but here is a picture of my hair after shampooing with Shea Moisture Coconut and Hibiscus Shampoo then scrunching in Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing smoothie, then air drying. Not crunchy, but not frizz either.
My hair is 2c fairly coarse, very prone to frizz.
