Do you do a prepoo before washing or cowashing and conditioning? I prepoo with conditioner and oil before washing or cowashing and it helps greatly with detangling. Unfortunately, I can't detangle using a comb with dripping wet hair and conditioner. I will pull out my hair in clumps. My hair is too fine for that. I have to comb detangle at the sink, so I have to find ways to make detangling much easier. I always prepoo and finger detangle gently under running water and then section my hair and twist or braid and put a clip at end of each braid. Then I proceed with washing and conditioning each individual section. This really helps keep the hair smooth, lessens the tangles, and makes it easier to comb detangle at the sink.
