I've been using the ION Effective Care protein treatment from Sally's and it's done great things for my hair. I've noticed more curl/ my hair feels thicker and it adds shine. It's also not expensive - I bought the bottle, rather than the individual packs and it will last for awhile. I also use a co-wash with protein (Suave Naturals Coconut) and some gels with protein. My hair is addicted to protein!!!
