It occurs to me that if I showed up at most people's place of employment after closing time, one I wouldn't even find some of them there, but two, they'd no doubt turn me away and tell me how they're closed. Heck, I've been turned away five minutes before closing time.
So it always amazes me that people have no problem showing up at a restaurant and ordering food even though, too bad, kitchen's closed.
I hate that our front of the house doesn't seem to care that we close at eleven. Then when an order for three burgers comes in at 11:15, it's well, they sat at eleven (I'm sure it was after). Furthermore, if you go into a restaurant at closing time for the kitchen, order your ****ing food right away. But no, let me stay another 25 minutes to cook your burgers, on the grill which was already shut off and has cooled significantly. Do people really not realize that you know, cooks like going home, too? And that we pretty much hate you for pulling that crap?
