does your hairdresser dry your hair after cutting?

My hair is thick...maybe she doesn't want to spend the time. the client before me this last time had straight hair and I watched her dry and style that client's hair.
Anyone have an idea about this?
I usually bring my leave in and gel and ask to sit under the salon dryer. I have one at home, and I think my hair dries faster with my home one!
