Case in point: a few weeks ago, after starting this thread, I decided to try something new with my hair. Amazing results after first wash. But since then I haven't been able to replicate it.
The attached photo is proof that my experimenting days are not over yet.
On the left is a picture I took of my hair just now (but it has generally looked awful like that for most of my life, so this is "normal" to me).
On the right was the day I started this thread.
Frustrating and fascinating process!
