I was going to make the same comment - that steam is at least 212°F. I was as far away from the steam source at the length of the diffuser you have in your pic (I have that one) and it was too hot on my scalp. I think there needs to be a bit more hose between where the steam is made and your hair/head. Not sure where it is released from the steamer above, maybe that's plenty of space? But it definitely gets hotter as you go. That's a big concern for the Q-Redew. That steam source is awfully close to your head and no matter what, it has to be 212° to be steam.
