I had a pixie cut for 9 years and really loved how carefree it was (other than needing a trim every 3-4 weeks). But it was truly wash-and-wear for me.

As other commenters have noted - it's a great cut, but requires maintenance of the cut (and the $ that goes along with it, but you may be able to work out a "volume discount" with your stylist - doesn't hurt to ask), and growing out a pixie once you're done with it is a b**ch! I tried 4 separate times to grow mine out, and finally have passed the point of no return (I'm now about a year into the grow out and still have tons of layers).

I think you'd look cute with one, though, and it is a fun, easy cut to have.
