If you're sensitive to particular scents, you could look into buying an unscented conditioner base and adding (or not) whatever scent you prefer.
There's a thread from quite a while ago here in the Gen Discussion forum on bases Different company--same EXACT ingredients in product- I didn't notice UGH!, plus a sticky at the top of the 4a forum on bases.
On both of those threads, there were various bases identified that get very good reviews, plus base are generally *much* cheaper than what you pay for other, manufacturer's products that are almost identical.
