I don't always wear my hair wavy when I'm on a trip for this very reason! I am an overpacker by nature so I try to limit my beauty/hair stuff. I would pack a full size cleanser (low poo), a smaller bottle of a rinse out, one curl enhancer and one gel. I don't diffuse and I would probably only wear my hair wavy every few days.
Definitely bring some hair accessories like headbands since it will probably be very windy!
