Okay, so I ordered a sample of Garden of Wisdom's Castile Cleanser, without castor oil.

In the meantime, I'm trying out Earthscience's Clarifying Face Wash. It has a pH of 5.0 according to the company's website. And it's pretty cheap, about $10 for 8 fl oz. That's comparable to Neutrogena.

I'm curious about whether the cleansers may be too harsh, and if the humectants could be effective. I've listed the ingredients below, with cleansers in red and humectants in blue.
