I'm gonna have to say...no. When factors such as weight, products used, weather, etc. come in, it definitely affects your hair from moisture levels to how it looks. Even by simply letting it grow out your hair texture/curl pattern could naturally change over time. I knew I'd have serious kinks when I big chopped and my hair was mad short but I had no idea the longer it grew the more corkscrews and s-curls would pop up. Not to mention there's typically more than one texture on a person's head, so even thought your hair might look like it's all one texture short, that most likely won't be the case when it grows out.
I wouldn't worry too much about typing it, honestly. At least not while it's short.
