I still use mine with no problems & I
have fine hair. .On the other hand I don't use Denman brushes. They are hair rippers. I can only use it after using Tangle teezer or Ouidad double detangler & since they work so well there's no point in using a Denman

Hair type 4 "mystery"
Fine,soft hair with little penspring curls of different sizes. Small patch of wavy hair at center of my nape. Did BC in 2009 after 28yrs of curly perms. Had scab hair that finally was all trimmed off in summer 2011
