i finely chopped a medium and a small onion and sauteed them in oil olive, then i took the pepper grinder and ground away for a few minutes. in my grinder, i keep a mix of black, pink, white and green peppercorns.

after the onions sweated down, i put in 1/4 cup of 18% cream and 1/2 cup of fresh ground parmesan and pecorino romano.

ta da!

that was it....

i don't know about steak, i can't see peppercorn cream sauce being bad on anything!
