I like it much better than the hair therapy wrap. First let me say my I was never able to get the gel packs back into the pockets properly before they cooled off....so I would just heat them in the wrap and barely get it hot because I was always afraid it would burst.
This is not gel filled which imo is great. It has some type of seeds or peebles inside. I heated up the cap just to see and it was so easy. I hit the min button and it was nice and warm (not hot) for a timed 33 min when it finally cooled at the 45min mark. The size is pretty good, I can see it being a problem for a mega thick, mega long haired lady. I think it would hold Elle's hair just fine...anything more maybe not. Very sturdy and well made. Lastly, it is much cuter than the helmet heat therapy wrap
