I remember they changed the fitness standards when I was in high school. Before that it was like some sort of pass/fail. You either did the required number of whatever it was or you didn't. At some point, they changed it to "do as many situps as you can in 60secs" and they recorded it. I don't think you passed or failed, you just reported what you did and some people got a special certificate. I never got it. *shrug*
