many stylists think curly hair is thick because it has so much body. often curly hair is much thinner than it appears-like my hair is really thin but looks thick. thinning is a disaster. some "curly" salons have things like tunnel cuts and carve and slice. this sounds like thinning to me. i would avoid all of it and get a good dry cut someplace like devachan. if they cut each curl properly the hair will look great and be manageable. NO THINNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
