I remember once, a while ago, before I stopped getting my hair straightened, telling the stylist that I wanted my layers cut in such a way that if I decided to wear my hair natural, I wouldnt have crazy short layers. She replied that, with my hair type (4a) I couldn't wear it out and curly or it would get matted. The only way to wear it is either straight or braided #majorshade
