If you like a waxy pomade feel that is water-soluble, you should check out a product called Lay-rite by Hawlywoods. It's marketed to men, and is produced by a barber shop but 1) it smells like cake batter and 2) it does what it claims... Holds like a wax but rinses clean in water. No 'cones! My husband uses the stuff on his mostly straight hair to get a pompadour look, and it stays really well, and I use it for super sleek looks.
