I think a maxi dress would be an appropriate thing to wear. However, although I like this dress and pattern very much, my gut tells me that it would steal the show with its pattern. Seeing that you aren't the bride (wow – that'd be an interesting wedding dress choice!
) or a close family member, it might be more appropriate to wear something more subdued... Then again, they might not care! Just my two cents.
