Again, I would recommend trying IAgirl's PT - the gelatin will give you a really strong hit of protein (more so than most PTs). I would also agree with trying to not do a DT. I can't DT because I get overconditioned way too easily - I think that is true for most fine hair. After a PT, I will just rinse out with some Tresemme Naturals condish - which isn't super moisturizing but adds some slip to help get rid of any tangles. That's all I need for moisture after a strong PT! Hope that helps.
