iroc, that's awesome that you did it over the weekend. Saturday rolls around and exercising is the last thing on my mind. I am hoping to force myself to be more outdoor active (it's not really my thing at all, but DH loves it so I'm hoping that will help push me) since we live in an area with amazing weather. I can't use humidity as an excuse any longer!
I did the shred yesterday and even managed a couple of pushups. They hurt my wrists/hands so bad to do, that's my main issue with them. Oh, and that I have no strength to actually go UP.
I'm not sore from it any longer which surprises me. When I did it a couple of years ago I was SO sore for so long. Progress, I haz it!
Today I did the treadmill and y'all, I jogged FOUR times. I have no idea what the hell is wrong with me. I find I have to remind myself to swivel my hips because running feels so awkward for me and I think it's because even when I walk I'm sort of stiff. I listened to music today and it makes a HUGE difference in my motivation and I always forget that. I tend to watch TV instead normally, but I need to do the music because it energizes me. I streamed Pandora on my new phone and that was awesome! I didn't have to put any thought into a play list.
On a depressing note I've gained two more pounds.
BOOOO! That's ok though, I know it won't happen overnight and I'll get there.
How's everyone doing so far this week?
Byron,GA> Charleston, SC> Jacksonville, FL> Guilford, CT> Rohnert Park, CA! A southern drawl in sunny Cali! .
The amount of time from slipping on the peel and landing on the pavement is exactly one bananosecond.
I do have a secret yen for pink in unexpected places.
I've decided that I'll never get down to my original weight, and I'm OK with that--After all, 8 pounds 2 oz. is just not realistic.
