In line with the castile soap point, I've found it helpful for me to use CV soap bars to wash then rinse out, then glob on conditioner (while cuticle is open) then spray on ACV rinse (very diluted) to seal in the moisture, then rinse everything out.

Works like a charm for me. I only do it once every three weeks or so.
