I agree with you totally.
One father said he was ashamed (or something like that) when he heard his son's voice on the video. Let's hope he steps up to the plate and punishes the kid accordingly.
Glenn Beck and Bill O'Reilly actually came up with some of the best punishments last night. One of them said the boys should not be allowed to ride the bus; I agree. It may inconvenience their parents, but that is a price they should pay. Then Glenn Beck hit the nail on the head when he said our parents would have us at the woman's house mowing her lawn, raking her leaves, and doing whatever she needed done. Someone said they don't believe any of the boys have been made to apologize. First thing I would have done is march my kid to her house and have him apologize (and mean it) in person.
I also heard where one of the parents said the boys were wrong but this has gotten blown out of proportion. I disagree. I think it is time that every person (kid or adult - parent or child) learns we are living in a technology society where anything and everything you do can be recorded and posted on line. That means very few people get away with things like this anymore, and the public outcry is far reaching. Therefore, if you don't want to feel the heat after you do something stupid like this, then don't do it to being with.
