That is my hair exactly, albeit a bit longer.
I wrote a tread today titled "I need help", asking on what products should I get since what I was using -just 100% coconut oil, left my hair looking super awesome and very oily.
I have tried a lot of "commercial" products and I just dont get the results that I want. Either my hair is crunchy, or flaky, or frizzy.
The look that I am going for is the one on pictures 1, 4 and 7 on this site:
Daniel Jacob by Bernard Gueit for FashionTrend Australia
I emailed the stylist and she told me that she used american crew curl construct. I ordered it online and had horrible results.
So, what products or what routine do I need to use to get my hair to look nice and curly?
Some very thoughtful members told me to use after conditioning (co-washing) a sealer: some sort of oil (cocunut, grapeseed, etc.) on wet hair, then apply a leave in conditioner, and after that apply the styiling gel.
I went to do my homework at Wholefoods and the lady that works there recommended me Beautiful Curls Oil and Leave on Conditioner for Weavy to Curly, and for styiling Queen Helen Royal Curl Curl Shaping Creme. I cameback to my computer to see the reviews, but there are none. What do you ladys and gents think? Should I use those products? (btw my hair is of normal porosity, thick and medium coarse -exactly like the guy on the pic of the site that I presented)
Wholefoods, does carry other products, but she just recommended those.
Any help would be deeply appreciated,
Thank you
