weighing daily, an observation
so i decided to weight myself daily since my weight wasn't really going down like i thought it should considering my exercise level and caloric intake.
i eat a lot of asian food. i love it. i don't eat large amounts and since i don't eat chicken, beef or pork only seafood or vegetarian meals and not really fried or heavy sauce meals i figured i was doing okay. what i've noticed in my little experiment is that the morning after i eat asian food my weight is up anywhere from 2 to 2.5 lbs. in a day or two it goes back to what it was before. i'm thinking this has to be the effects of sodium and maybe it's keeping me from really breaking through my next plateau.
i'm working out intensely and even using myfitnesspal daily i'm taking in less calories than i require on most days. i've adjusted my calorie limit to 1350 plus i burn 400-600 calories about 5 days a week. it just wasn't adding up.
have any of you seen big impacts of sodium in retaining weight? maybe i'm not losing for some other reason. i'm just trying to analyze what could be going on. i've been weighing daily for about 3 weeks.
