I feel your pain, I'm new to this site today and was actually looking for an answer to this. I'm glad i'm not the only one. I've got 2c hair that's shoulder length with tons of volume. I just had my hair trimmed over the weekend and I had the lady even out my bottom layers a bit. today I got out of the shower scrunched my hair with some mousse and the the bottom strait layer now pokes out just a little and looks fine.
However, I haven't been outside yet and have no idea what the humidity here is gonna do.
