Do you mean curl size as in clumping, or curl type? I took the question to mean clumping, so in general I think the bigger each individual curl is, the less curly it would be, because it has more bulk pulling it down. When there is less clumping, there is not as much weight on the curl, which makes sense to me that it would be curlier and spring up more. Is this what you were asking about?
