I get it trimmed every 2-3 months. And I don't want to stop straightening it because I hate my natural hair. When it grows out longer that's when I'll stop. What I think I'll do is I'll keep getting it trimmed then buy some rollers, and just us the rollers to get nice loose curls. And the rollers won't have any heat damage so I think that will work.
