Hey all.
I'm about three months into my transition, and, while my newgrowth is doing well, when I try and do some of my wider protective styles (i.e. French Braid crowns, French Braids, etc.) it just looks really matted.
And, I'm not ashamed of it or anything, but, natural, transitioning or relaxed, the whole "matted new growth" is not the look anyone wants to rock.
Do any of y'all have that problem? If so... What did you do for it?
