We never did figure out if the skins were truly legal to sell. The guy selling them was apparently the "permit" holder and he wasn't there to talk about them.
The trip was amazing, the work was amazing. We had all kinds of fun practicals - they did a crime scene practical, served a search warrant, conducted surveillance of a buy, tons of fun.
We did one safari in South Africa and then another one in the Okavango Delta. The Delta was amazing. South Africa was neat, but it was more park like, even though it's the 4th largest preserve in ZA. Horseback riding across the Delta was also amazing. All in all, it was amazing.
