Everyday shea is a very simple conditioner, basically just an emulsion of water and oil.
Gels are usually high in humectants. But aloe vera gel, marshmallow root (like in kinky curly products), and flax seed gel are mild humectants, not like glycerin, sorbitol, and propylene glycol.
