My immediate family is great. My extended family has its fair share of crazy, but I don't have to deal with it. My in-laws drive me a little cuckoo sometimes; they're very nice, but are not at all understanding of a person's need for space. If I visit and refuse a snack, my MIL thinks she did something to offend me, when in reality, I just wasn't hungry (for example). It's a little irritating.
