I love flat diapers for my hair. I got osocozy flat diapers from amazon. Ideally you want something smooth, both terry cloth towels and microfiber can cause frizz. T shirts work great too and everyone has those.

Sleeping on a satin pillowcase can also help with frizz and damage. I found cheap ones at Carol Wright Gifts online.

Aloe vera gel is a nice cheap gel too. Also Long Aid curl activator and Eco Styler Hair Styling Gel Krystal.

I like to apply a little gel or oil on dry hair during the day, I find that really helps with frizz. There are lots of oils that can work, everyone likes something different. Personally I like olive oil.

Ultimately, if you're getting the results you want, you're "doing it right"!
