Do you have to be really careful with proteins then? i.e. you can't just throw a load of protein at it?
Have you done the strand stretch test? I just did it on a strand of wet hair and it stretched to 80% of its length before snapping.
Bc my hair is porous, I need certain proteins to fill in the gaps. But, the coarseness of my hair makes it so that certain proteins are more irritating than others.
