My mother has never been to a beach in this country because she thinks they're too plain and not nice to look at and that the water looks murky. I told her the water's fine, just a different color, but yeah, I think beaches are too plain here. It's just the case when you grew up going to Caribbean ones.

Amneris, I miss getting a fresh coconut cut down from a tree and sipping the water while enjoying a cool breeze beneath a tree. That's something I can still remember what it feels like. Plus freshly fried fish!
