lcl, you may want to consider getting a hair analysis from livecurlylivefree, and then you'll know for sure! But also, I would say that from my understanding, over-proteination is not necessarily rapidly reversed. I would give your hair at least a week with zero protein, and then see where you stand. Also, just recently another person on here posted that their hair seemed very nonporous after over-proteinating. I wonder if that much protein can actually make your hair behave as though its nonporous, because you have protein completely filling in all the gaps and then some.
