I have eczema and acne and have scars mostly from eczema. I don't like using oil and leaving it on my skin because of my acne issues, but I do recommend massaging scars and then washing the oil off; I use olive oil. Funnily enough, I use Olay Definity Night Cream and that has helped more than anything. I am self conscious about the scars on my face, neck and chest so when I go to work, I use Maybelline Super Stay 24 concealer to cover them up. It blends wonderfully, so it doesn't look like I am wearing makeup on my chest or neck. You could use concealer on your feet and only you would know.
The posters who say you notice it more than anyone else does are correct. But I like covering them up for me. My eczema scars look like burn scars
These are scars from this spring. When I touch them, like washing my face or putting makeup on, they turn bright red and it takes a bit for them to settle down. The first pic is with no makeup but about 30 minutes after washing my face. The second pic is with the concealer only, no other makeup.
