I worked out with my first pregnancy even with restrictions. I was banned from running or any impact stuff because of partial placenta previa but I was still able to bike, walk fast at an incline, elliptical runner and lift weights. I think I finally gave it up 3 weeks before my due date...and floated in the pool. LOL..
