I love using a conditioner as a base, adding mayonnaise, honey, and a little vatika oil. Which is pretty much just coconut oil. And if I want a little more protein, an egg.
Or I'll do avocado, coconut milk, and honey. Avocado makes your hair super soft but it is protein as is the coconut milk so if you're protein sensitive like me, don't do that one too often!

Thanks for all of the advice! I think that my hair likes protein (high porosity) but I'm not sure. I'm looking forward to making both of those! Also how often do you do a DC?
