Dr. Who AND curls!??!?? This just goes to remind me how much I love the 2s board! My hair may have all puffed up into spirals now that summer's here, but I'm staying put on this board!

I'll have to see about getting ahold of the new season...

Donna really grew on me when I watched her episodes a second time. It's so hard to choose (I actually did like Rose), so I'll just stick with favorite episodes. The Doctor Dances, Blink, Turn Left, and that one with the Sycorax.

I found out accidentally, when I posted my interests on the Curly Crusaders thread, that there were a handful of DW fans on the NC.com boards.

The Doctor Dances and Blink were both by Steven Moffat who replaced Russell T Davies as head writer of the show. Christmas Invasion was awesome...

"And how am I gonna react when I see this? A great, big, threatening button. A great, big, threatening button which must not be pressed under any circumstances, am I right?"

He's pretty useless much of the episode although there are a number of other great quotes from this episode, but when he gets on form in the end, he's got it, and there was no doubt in my mind after the scene with the Sycorax leader that David Tennant would be a brilliant Doctor.

Plunky: I think that Amy is okay, and I think that her Character will grow on me. I like how the character was introduced, with the doctor always being late and her having a history with the doctor. I didn't really like Prisoner Zero, But I liked the way the Character was introduced like Amy. I thought that it would have been better if it was actually the little girls and their Mum, they were the REAL alien instead of an odd looking Monster/Alien. I liked the big eye as well So Amy is good, and I think that she'll grow on me.

I think she'll grow on people too. Did you notice how similar her story line was with Madame Du Pompadour? In both stories he meets the young version, then each time he comes back, more time elapses than he anticipated. I think we'll learn more about her in time.

I agree. And I'd like to go a season free of Daleks. But I don't see that happening. I'd like to see a different older enemy back, like the zygons, sea devils or the ice warriors, but really, there's scores of old monsters that they could resurrect to give the Daleks a break. :P

They're the cockroaches of the universe. Nothing will ever kill them for good unless the Doctor goes back in time and prevents them from being created, which the Time Lords actually had him do, only he couldn't do it in the end.

But yes, you can see them in the trailer with other familiar faces (including a rockin' awesome curly).

ok, so spam bumped this. but I think it needs a bump for real because the new season just aired over the weekend.

I haven't gotten to see it yet (out of town on holiday), but i'm super excited to watch it Friday with my SO.

It was really good! I don't want to spoil it for you, but it was a great kickoff to the season.

the anticipation is killing me. I don't have BBC at my house, nor a DVR. So i'm impatiently waiting for the weekend.

Weeping angels are my favorite.

Yes! So far the two stories have been good! Love the Harry Potter crossover with the recent ep..Mark Williams (Arthur Weasely) playing Rory's dad, and the guy who played Filch as Solomon.
