Aveda products

I have to share my new product find.
I tried Aveda's Light Elements Defining Whip today (a small amount, followed by a hard hold gel), and it's the best hair day I've had in a month! My hair is curlier and bouncier than ever. Wishing you all a good hair day, wherever you are.

I'll have to take a look next time I am near an Aveda store/salon.

Currently using a variety of products, and looking for that magic combo

It's so expensive here, perhaps if I can snag a sample I might try it sometime.

Aiming to grow hair to waist from buzz cut - slowly but surely.
This is exciting--I snagged a jar from my mom last time I visited her--she wasn't using it anymore. I was using it to tame end-of-day frizzies, but wasn't sure it was working for that and put it away.

How exactly did you apply it? I'm never quite sure with pomade-type products. Did you apply it to wet hair? scrunch it or rake it? A finger-tip size or more/less? The ingredients seem to be mostly conditioning with just the PVP for hold . . .

Ingredients: Aqueous extracts: Linseed Extract, Marshmallow, Lavender, Stearic Acid, Caprylic/Capric Triblyceride, PEG-6 Caprylic/Capric Glycerides, Glycerin, PVP, Hydrogenated Castor Oil, PEG-25 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Hydroxypropyl Guar, Oryzanol, Framrance, Citral, Linaloon, Farnesol, Benzyl Benzoate, Benzyl Salicylate, Eugenol, Limonene, Cetearyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Stearate, Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, Tromethamine, Disodium EDTA, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Phenoxyethanol, Chlorphenesin, Benzoic Acid.

Please excuse my typos in the above--not a chemist or even chemically inclined!
2b/3a, fine, "naturally frizzy", non-porous, above shoulders, brunette
Low-poos--faves are Deva and JC, experimenting with CJ Gentle Cleansing Shampoo
Conditioners: faves are Devacare One-C, Jessicurl Too Shea
Leave Ins: Conflicted relationship--no fave
Fave stylers: Aveda Flax Seed & Aloe over Aveda Phmollient mousse, KCCC over anything, Biolage Firm Hold Gelee (HG for spring/summer), CK

I'm not sure if I'm supposed to scrunch or rake it in, but scrunching seems to work for me. I've been able to get good 2nd day hair with this, and got decent 3rd day hair last week, which has never happened with other product combos.
