Default Finally a good hair day...with Deva?

I had given up on the Deva gels long ago. They always made me frizzy, crunchy, and gave me tons of under tangles. Unfortunate for me too since I used exclusively Deva for 4+ months. I don't know why I never swapped them out but I didn't. I stopped using them well over a year ago.

So today I was feeling nostalgic for the Deva smell. I still have some old formula OneC that I use once in a while and since I had nowhere to go I figured I'd try ArcAngell and Angell again. Why not? Nothing has been working lately anyway.

So I put a half dollar size of each together and started scrunching it all in. I plopped for an hour and then air dried. I have great clumps, it's not dry or frizzy, and looks better than it has in months. Go figure. Grrrrr...hair you need to knock it off

I love the smell of Deva products also! They've always left my hair flat but I use them now when I straighten or put my hair up. I'm so glad you've found something that works for you again.

Glad you have gotten good results. Deva products always make my hair flat and straight...

I'm going to give them one more try before they go to the swap boards

My daughters Fine 2B/3A hair has been coming out amazing this Spring with Angel Gel. I use either Giov LI or Jasmines under it and her hair is just gorgeous and curly all over. Me not so much....I was beginning to think that Deva works best for Fine Haired types but I still see some fine haired girls that don't like it. So, I have no idea why it works on some and not others!! I do think part of the trick is using a good LI with it.

Had bad results with it yesterday but the LI could be the key. I've been wondering if it's time to start using GDLI again since I've been having so many balance issues.

try it with GLDLI Jess or another LI with some protein. My DD gets a solid 3 days out of this combo. On 2nd day I spritz and add a little more GDLI or more Angel depending on how much hold she needs.
