Here's a random progression for my hair. The first pic is when I first started mod CG in November 2009.

Wow, Plunkybug! Major change there. I was hoping you'd post B&A's. I've been wondering what your hair looked like pre-CG.

Here are mine, after two months of CG. There may still be room for imporvement but if not, that's just fine.
Most of my pre-CG hair didn't look quite like this, the shampoo/conditioner combo I'd been using didn't agree with my hair at all. It did inspire be to get back on the CG wagon though .
Before June 24th:

And Today:

Biggest helpers to me are diffusing (mostly upside down), semi super soaking, and smasters consistently awesome hair technique.

WOW, I can't believe what a change you've all had! I can't imagine my hair doing anything like that.

It should be noted that previous to CG/mod-CG that I was a wash and go gal. I didn't really use any products or style it much. Styling for me was combing and airdrying...sometimes braiding it or putting in a bun or ponytail or leaving hair exactly as it came out of the towel turban for curl and wave enhancement, even if it meant being a little messy. I did try to do deep treatments every once in a while but I don't know if I every really saw any benefit, and I probably didn't do them often enough...and I certainly never knew the difference with PT and DT. My success lately, it seems is more about technique and less about the products. I have very similar hair now to that last pic, and I used totally different products in the shower and out. I think the products and more frequent treatments have helped, but it's the styling that has been the best/biggest change for me.

I don't have a camera anymore, but ewenique, my hair (conditioned and styled with gel) looks a lot like yours. About the same length now, too. But dark red brown from henna.

I didn't realize how much my hair has changed since I've gone the modified CG route until I decided to post before and after pics. : ) I suppose the reason is that although my hair really hasn't gotten much curlier, it's just more consistent than it used to me. I used to have a lot of blah days with loose waves, and sometimes, in extreme humidity, defined waves/curls. To be fair, I've posted pictures of me in the middle of the summer of 2007 and 2008 and one in April 2009. I have better luck with my hair in the summer, for sure, and spring is always better than winter.
The last two pictures were taken today after 6 months of being modified CG. It's a humid day in Philadelphia with a dew point of 69 degrees and 67% humidity. We're about to get some rain, and my curls go nuts with this weather. So, today is an example of a reaching curl-limit day in terms of definition and volume. FYI - I washed my hair last night, styled and let it air dry. I pineappled overnight then spritzed some water on and added some more styling products.

Thank you! Did you let your gray grow in slowly? I colored my hair for a few years (starting at about 28 when the temples really started to gray) and then when I decided it was not for me I did a BC and started over. It was hard because I was only 31 and it made me feel old at first, but now I love it .
